Foraging for Spring Edibles-Driftless Curiousity

Are you craving that fresh taste of spring only Mother Nature can satisfy? Are you curious about edible plants growing in the Driftless? Join us for a day on the land foraging for spring edibles. We’ll share our experience, get familiar with field guides, learn about foraging safety, discuss how to identify some commonly wildcrafted foods, harvest while we hike, and prepare a few recipes featuring the flavors of spring. This learning opportunity will take you on a springtime foraging journey through the pages of our favorite field guides, the hillsides of our ridgetop farm, and the aromas and flavors from the finished recipe on the point of your fork.
