The Clerk/Treasurer’s Office is responsible for public records, budgets, voting records, real estate and property taxes, licenses, open book/board of review items, Council and committee meeting records, Ordinances, Resolutions, and projects that may be viewed during office hours.
The City of Richland Center offers a Shared Ride Taxi Service: Richland Center Transit provides service Monday-Friday 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am to 7:00 pm and Sunday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. If you need a ride call 608- 649-TAXI (8294).

Voting & Election Information:
Elections are held at the Richland Center Community Center at 1050 N. Orange Street. Polls are open from 7:00 A.M. through 8:00 P.M. Anyone wanting to be an election observer needs to register at the polls.

Real Estate Taxes/Personal Property Taxes:
Tax bills are usually available the last week of December each year. First half payments are due by January 31 to the Richland Center City Treasurer 450 S. Main Street, Richland Center, WI 53581. Second half payments are due by July 31 to the Richland County Treasurer P.O. Box 348, Richland Center, WI 53581. Late Penalty is 1% interest each month on the unpaid balance until paid in full.

LICENSING / PETITIONS / PERMITS:
Dog Licenses:
Annual Dog Licenses need to be obtained in the Clerk/Treasurer’s Office by April 1. The cost is $8.00 per dog or $3.00 if the pet is spayed or neutered. You must bring a copy of your receipt from the Veterinarian that shows the date of Rabies Vaccination, the serial number, and the expiration date.
