COVID-19 Update from Mayor Coppernoll

Richland Center park shelters, and park play equipment, will re-open for public use July 1.

The Killian Meyer Building will also re-open July 1 – the Meyer Building, and the shelters, will have capacity limits – call 647-8108 for details.

Park bathrooms will open July 1, adult softball, and the youth rec program will also begin July 1. To sign up for adult activities, or to sign your child up for youth activities, please call 647-8108.

Bleachers will not be available this season, please bring chairs with you, and take them when you leave, thank you.

Park bathrooms, and the tables in the park shelters, will be sanitized once per day, early in the morning.

The Community Center, and the Senior Center, will remain closed until further notice.

The aquatic center will not open July 1, we’re awaiting an inspection by the state. At this point, the target date to open the aquatic center is July 4.

We will make an announcement regarding the opening of the aquatic center as soon as we have more details, there will be capacity restrictions in the aquatic center this season.

Signs will be posted in the parks, stating the threat of exposure to the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 exists, that by entering the parks, you are taking responsibility for your own protection, and that children should be supervised.
