Request for Bids – HVAC Maintenance Agreement

REQUEST FOR BIDS

The City is requesting bids for an annual maintenance agreement on all furnace and air conditioning units within city owned buildings. The contract should be for one-year, renewable for an additional 2 years upon satisfactory performance. The contract will begin in April 2019. A list of the units is available at the City Clerk’s office or online at www.richlandcenter.com under news. Questions may be directed to Dave Fry at 608-604-0398.

Bids should be returned to the City Clerk’s Office at 450 S. Main Street or emailed to Melinda.jones@richlandcenter.com no later than 2:00 p.m. on March 25, 2019.

Richland Center Snow Removal Emergency

Due to anticipated snow accumulations from the impending winter storm, officials from the City of Richland Center have announced that a Snow Removal Emergency is in effect in the city until further notice. This Snow Removal Emergency prohibits vehicles of any kind to be parked on any street or highway within the City of Richland Center between the hours of 10:00 pm and 7:00 am. The Snow Removal Emergency begins at 10:00 PM Monday night, February 11th and will be in effect for two nights expiring 7:00 am February 13th.

All vehicles must be removed from city streets and highways from 10:00 pm until 7:00 am each night that the Snow Removal Emergency is in effect. Vehicles parked on any city street during these hours will be ticketed. The fine for a Snow Removal Emergency violation is $15.00. In addition, vehicles left on the street in violation of the Snow Removal Emergency may be towed at the owner’s expense.

Overnight, off-street parking will be available in all city-owned municipal parking lots in the downtown as well as the former Community Center parking lot, city hall parking lot and the parking lots in Krouskop Park. Vehicles need to be removed from these lots during the daytime to allow for normal use.

2018 Truck Bids Requested

The Richland Center Parks & Grounds Department is accepting bids for a 2018 2500 4×4 regular cab truck with snow plow and an 8 foot box.  Bid specifications are attached below but can also be picked up at the Municipal building located at 450 S. Main Street in Richland Center.

Bids are due by 11:00 a.m. on January 10, 2019 and may be dropped of at the municipal building or emailed to Melinda.jones@richlandcenter.com

Firewood for Sale

The City of Richland Center is selling Firewood from all ash trees being cut.  Asking $50.00 per pickup truck load.   Contact Dave Fry at 608-604-0398.

Aaron Black Trails CLOSED as of Monday, Nov 19th

The Aaron Black Trails segment between Industrial Drive and Cty A/Bowen’s Mill will be CLOSED until further notice, as of Monday, November 19th. Construction will begin for the ongoing project of rip-rapping the banks.

10/26/2018 Construction Update


Haseltine Street:   Gerke has completed the punch list items on the project.  The lawn restoration will be monitored in the spring to make sure the grass has established.  There will be one final pay request on the project that includes the rest of the street construction.


Westside Drive Reconstruction:  Gasser has been on site paving Westside Drive the last two days.  They plan to have almost all the asphalt done by the end of the day today, except for a small amount at the north end of the project.  Their goal is to finish the remaining asphalt on the project on Saturday.  Depending on weather or other delays, the asphalt driveways might not be finished until early next week.

Augelli Concrete plans to come back on Monday after Gasser is out of the way to finish the remaining concrete driveways and steps on the project.  

 In addition to the asphalt and concrete, Gerke will be finishing the lawn restoration, retaining wall, and Mr. Manhole adjustments after the asphalt is finished.  

 


Panorama Estates:  Gasser was on site today finish grading the road in preparation of paving tomorrow.  Gasser plans to pave the road tomorrow and the asphalt trail on Saturday.  

Augelli Concrete plans to come on Monday to finish the remaining concrete sidewalk on the project.  

 Century Fence was on site today doing the pavement marking on USH 14.  The intersection improvements are now complete, except for some concrete sidewalk at the intersection and lawn restoration.
