Campground Rules and Regulations

Camping Season: April 15 – October 31
  1. Registration is required before camp set-up. All fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. Registration can be done online, by phone, (608) 647-8108 ext. 1, at the Parks and Rec Office, 1050 N Orange St., or by using the self-registration box at the entrance to the camping area. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8AM-5PM. Registration tag must be displayed inside vehicle windshield at all times.
  2. No refunds will be given on camping fees.
  3. You must be 21, and a responsible adult, to reserve a campsite.
  4. Rates: Daily with Electric and Water: $25  / With Electric but No Water: $20 /  No Electric or Water: $15
  5. Parking at campsites – Limited to 2 vehicles per site and maximum of 6 people per site.
  6. Alcohol consumption is limited to fermented beverages such as beer and wine, and on the park designated site only. Having a campsite allows for your beer permit. Alcohol may not be served to minors. No glass containers.
  7. Quiet time is midnight until sunrise.
  8. Check-in/check-out time is 1 pm.
  9. One picnic table per site.
  10. A community fire ring is available in Krouskop Park and Lions Park camping areas. Campfires are allowed only in installed fire rings.
  11. Campfire must be kept at a reasonable flame and completely extinguished upon departure. All firewood must be certified burning wood.
  12. All pets are to be kept on leashes, quiet and under control, and kept only in camping area. (Owners must clean up pet waste)
  13. All garbage is to be put away in garbage cans provided.
  14. All fireworks are illegal and are not allowed in the Park.
  15. Violation of any State Law, or any rules of the City Parks, by a person in the camping party is possible cause for revocation of camping permit.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Maximum camping period is 14 nights in any 21-day period.
