Large Item Pickup

Richland Center Large Item Collection–Saturday, October 1st

Town & Country Sanitation will have a large item pickup day for items that are not removed with the regular weekly household garbage pickup.

This will take place Saturday, October 1st,  2022.  Please have items on the curb by 6:00 a.m. that day.

Items Included: Couches, Chairs, Tables, Carpeting, Entertainment Centers, etc.

This pickup does NOT include: Lumber or construction materials, Brush, Leaves, Yard Waste, Microwave, TVs, A/C Units, Any Computer Equipment, Appliances (see below)

APPLIANCES: Town & Country Sanitation will be placing dumpsters at the Richland Center Landfill for appliances.  Those items can be taken to the landfill for disposal during regular landfill hours from October 1st – October 5th.

Landfill Hours: Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 a.m.  –  1:00 p.m.

Saturday: 8:00 a.m. –  Noon

During those dates, there will not be any charge to dispose of regular appliances at the landfill.  (However, there will be a fee for disposal of microwaves, televisions, air conditioners, and computer equipment).

Large items are not to be placed at the curb at any other time of the year.

Municipal Services Specialist

The City of Richland Center is seeking applicants for the position of Municipal Services Specialist.

Position responsibilities include office duties such as answering telephones, providing customer services, processing payments and licenses.  The position will also include maintenance responsibilities such as mowing, pruning, using hand and power equipment, as well as custodial duties.

Candidate must have excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to changing  environments. Possession of a valid driver’s license is required. This is a full-time position eligible for benefits.

City Clerk/Treasurer

The City of Richland Center, Richland County, WI is accepting applications for a City Clerk/Treasurer to manage the Clerk/Treasurer’s Office, Human Resources functions, maintaining official records, manage Elections, City insurance policies, budgeting, grant applications and administration, tax collection, state reporting, TIF districts, accounting, project management, and responsibilities as set forth by State Statutes and City ordinances.  This is a vital management position requiring experience in all the above areas as well as the ability to work independently, plan and organize activities.

Successful applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in public administration, accounting, business administration or related field and a minimum of three years of municipal government experience.  Supervision experience is preferred.

The City of Richland Center is requesting bids on a 20’ X 20’ shelter located at the Woodman Dog Park, at 151 Industrial Dr., Richland Center, WI.
