RC Thunderfest presents…THUNDER IN THE HILLS – INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION – in Krouskop Park all day
with food and beer garden, kids games, bounce houses, go cart racing & Kiddie Carts, bands playing from noon to midnight, the pi-tri challenge, and end the evening with fireworks! More exciting events to be announced!
This year the City Parks and City of Richland Center will present Thunder in the Hills – fireworks display starting at dusk approx 10:00PM
Come early and stay late enjoy the food and beverages music and all the fun throughout the day as we celebrate our independence Southwest Wisconsin Style!
Streets will not be closed and participants will yield the right-of-way to vehicles when crossing the streets. Motorists are asked to use caution.
FREE Music festival from 12:00 pm to 12:00 am in Krouskop Park. This is a family event for music lovers in a park atmosphere with a quality state and sound system. Bands will perform Country, Classic Rock, Blues, military Brass and Military Rock. Live from Krouskop Park in Richland Center will be a full day of great entertainment from an intella-sound stage system. Music begins at Noon and runs until Midnight. Our stage is again managed by Steve Davis and our emcee by Marty Cina connecting great music and a great time for all!

A wide variety of genre including Country, Rock, Classic, Blues, Christian and funk and much more, providing a great day of entertainment in conjunction with the many events taking place as part of RC ThunderFest 2016. This fantastic day of nonstop music is provided without gate charge by RC ThunderFest and it’s sponsors!
Triathlon of Paddle, Peddle and Run. Paddle 4 miles on the Pine River, Pedal 12 miles and Run 3.1 miles. Both competitive and non-competitive. Race starts at 7am in Krouskop Park with awards to follow. For more information contact Jodi Mieden at 608-647-8108 ext. 1.

RC ThunderFest welcomes back Thunder Showers, LLC, from Boscobel, WI. Once again bringing fun and excitement to the RC Thunderfest grounds, including a 90 ft obstacle course jump house, a Euro Style bungie jump, & bouncy fun for all ages.
Don’t miss the fun and thrills as Thunder Showers adds a real bounce to the festivites again this year.

returns to the July celebration as part of the RC ThunderFest.
Businesses purchase the go-karts through Vetesnik Power Sports, decorate them and then race them on behalf of a charity.
Each kart is entered into five separate heats, allowing them to match their skills against all of the other competitors.
Karts are governed down by Vetesniks who also officiate the races.
The top five karts are then placed in a final race to determine which charities split the entrance fees.
Races begin at 1:00 P.M and continue each hour with the final race being run at 4:30 PM.
