Krouskop Park (37.5 acres) plays a major importance in satisfying recreational demands for people. The Park has the Pine River running through, along with many excellent recreation facilities to area residents. The Park contains a swimming facility that has separate pools for swimming, diving, and wading. Also, in the Park is a lighted athletic field complex that has fields for football, softball, 3 tennis courts, 1 basketball court, 2 soccer fields for youth, 2 sand volleyball courts, a picnic area with 6 shelters, grills, 6 horseshoe courts, 2 gazebos, a variety of playground equipment, 107 picnic tables of which several are designed for use by disabled persons, a bandstand which is available for the enjoyment of musical groups and spectators, restrooms, and access to the Pine River in which allows easy access for canoeing, fishing, and nature observation. Krouskop Park is also used for the famous Star Spangled Celebration. This concert is in late June and has many of the well known country western singers come to perform. Over 15,000 spectators come to this event from all over. During the Winter months there is an outdoor skating rink for ice skating and hockey, along with a warming house. |

Located on the North side of the Pine River on STH 80 is this Park (12.5 acres) which provides 2 baseball fields, 2 soccer fields, shelters, along with a double shelter with concessions, and playground equipment. |

This walking trail heads up to a bluff which overlooks the city from its east side. Several of the Minor Hills trails takes hikers to (5) scenic overlooks, wooded acres, open meadows, and an open quarry site. The trail is complete with signs and areas for picnicking. (50 acres) |

This is a small neighborhood park (.3 acres) and playground which is surrounded by residential property. It also provides access to a hiking trail, which connects with the trail located on Minor Hill. |

Richland Center Memorial Building and Park Area (3.5 acres)
A multi-use facility which is well equipped with a kitchen, indoor and outdoor basketball / volleyball courts and indoor restrooms. The facility is used by virtually all age groups for activities, dances, public informational meetings, recreational activities, and much more... It can be rented for your activity. The City of Richland Center Parks, Recreation and Grounds Department is responsible for the development and operation of recreation programs parks facilities, cemetery as well as various city properties in Richland Center. Department policies and procedures are governed by the Richland Center Parks and Grounds Board. Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 PM in the citys Municipal Building and are open to the public. The department office is located at 600 West Seminary Street with open office hours on Monday thorough Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, or by appointment. Insurance: The Richland Center Parks
Department does NOT provide accident or hospital insurance for class
participation. It is recommended that participants review their personal
insurance policies for coverage
