Support the UW Richland

Currently, UW Colleges is faced with a $6.5 million budget cut. This proposed cut amounts to 20% annually of the GPR the Colleges currently receive from the state.   UW-Richland is a leader in higher education in our region.  It is part of over 100 years of higher education in the county that goes back to the county teachers college.  And, in 2006 an economic impact study was shown to have a $7 million annual impact on the local economy.   … [Continue Reading]
